Portrait Photography

I love doing portraits with a flair.

Whether it is a dramatic beauty portrait or a clean corporate headshot photo, it is here that we can be creative with the lighting and make something fantastic.

I enjoy photographing people because I enjoy the challenge and rewards of working with a massive variety of people. Two main factors are important to me when I photograph you. One is the way you look, and another is the way you act.

What do you get?

I keep it as simple as possible, so instead of digging through a load of different packages, deals and options, I create a custom package that is tailored exactly to you.

What you can expect is that it will include the following as a minimum:

  • A session at your location (in Gauteng, outside of Gauteng will have an extra travel fee)
  • You get my time for 1 to 2 hours
  • I’ll bring with me my standard setup of lighting and backdrops
  • As many quality, edited, digital photos as there are. You can typically expect around 30 to 60 photos from the session
  • All images are made available in a private gallery for you to download in high-resolution
  • 10 A4 high-resolution professional prints

All this starting from R2 800

Frequently asked questions

Where are the sessions held?

For beauty portraits or corporate headshots, the session should be at your home or office with my mobile studio setup.

Couples or family/friend group sessions can be anywhere indoors or outdoors.

What should we wear on the day?

The choice is up to you but I do recommend clothing and outfits without strong design or patterns so as not to detract from the face. The important thing is that children must feel comfortable.

When will we receive our photos?

Typically turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks for your edited digital photos. For printed photos, it depends on loadshedding and how busy our printers are, it typically takes around 10 working days from when I send the digitals to them.

How many photos will we receive?

The cost of your session covers my time, my expertise, and any physical products that you will be getting along with the time I spend editing the photos. This means that there is no exact number of photos you will receive.

Typically a 2-hour session will receive around 50 photos.

I want you as my photographer! How do I book?

Fantastic! I would love to hear from you. Fill out the form on the contact page and we can arrange a meeting. If you are on the East Rand then we can arrange a coffee and if you are further away we can do Zoom or Google Meet.

I look forward to learning more about you and can’t wait to talk further! Be prepared for a very chill and stress-free experience!
